The Grandfather-Father-Son rotation scheme supports all three backup types - full, differential, and incremental and allows you to specify the schedule of performing each of those backup types with default most recommended cycles:

• Full copy ("Grandfather") - made with greatest time interval (least often - monthly by default),
• Differential ("Father") - performed more often than full copy (weekly),
• Incremental ("Son") - most common with the smallest interval (daily).
