It means that your backup copies aren’t intended to be executed or run as a program or code, as these files don’t contain instructions that a processor can execute.
So, even if malware hits one of your files, it won’t infect the rest of your data in storage - your backup copies don’t contain executable code or instructions that could potentially harm a system or perform unintended actions.
